Professional direct drive turntable with DVS control (black)
Introducing the Pioneer PLX-CRSS12, the world’s first turntable that seamlessly accommodates analogue record playback alongside tone-arm-free DVS control. This innovation establishes it as the ultimate choice for DJs aiming to elevate their creative potential and merging creative Styles.

Pioneer consistently pushes the boundaries of their line-up, harnessing the latest technology to simplify DJing, infuse unlimited fun, and elevate the aesthetics of stages and booths set up. The Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 stands out distinctly, not only from its predecessors but also from other brands, showcasing its uniqueness and innovation.
Sturdy and Sophisticated Aesthetics in Matte Black

Draped in a refined matte black hue, the PLX-CRSS12 exudes an air of elegance. Meticulously treated coatings grace the tone arm and other metallic components, while intricate detailing lends it a combination of resilience and refinement.
The Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 exhibits noticeable resemblances to both the Reloop RP-8000 and the Rane Twelve MKII DJ Turntable. The Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 showcases functionalities like Cue points, Samplers, Scratch Bank, Stems, Instant doubles, Pads 1-4 (default), and Pads 5-8 (accessible via shift), as well as a BPM screen. In comparison, the Reloop RP-8000 stands as a professional DJ turntable that seamlessly merges traditional vinyl DJing with contemporary digital capabilities. It boasts notable features like Hybrid Design, Digital Interface, Platter Controls, and Integrated Traktor Control. On the other hand, the Rane Twelve MKII presents attributes such as cue point Track search, Instant doubles, Navigation, BPM LED, and an inability to play physical vinyl records.
KEY FEATURES
Skip-Free DVS Control: Eradicating Playback Interruptions.
With the ground-breaking tone-arm-free DVS control featured in the PLX-CRSS12, the nuisance of skipping during digital playback becomes a thing of the past. Whether your scratches are gentle or vigorous, this innovative system ensures seamless performance in Digital Vinyl mode. Facilitated by the cutting-edge MAGVEL CLAMP, the record remains steadfastly in position as your interaction guides direct control over the digital music file. This engenders an authentic vinyl experience without necessitating the use of a tone arm. When engaging with analogue records, the sensation mirrors that of utilizing the acclaimed PLX-1000 deck.
Tailored Sensation to Match Your Style:
Fine-tuning the record’s “weight” to align with your preferred style is a breeze, thanks to the convenient dial situated atop the MAGVEL CLAMP. This streamlined adjustment empowers you to seamlessly maintain your performance without the need for laborious slip mat or slip sheet alterations.

Replaceable MAGVEL CLAMP:
The MAGVEL CLAMP integrated into the Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 is designed to be replaceable, and should you desire a backup set or need to replace a lost clamp, additional units are available for purchase.
Upon separate acquisition of the MAGVEL CLAMP, a protective cover is thoughtfully included to shield the adhesive sheet against dirt and scratches. For orderly storage, a dedicated section atop the deck accommodates the MAGVEL CLAMP.
Refine your ideal “weight” setting by manipulating the dial atop the MAGVEL CLAMP. This manipulation will variably enhance or reduce the torque, tailoring the record’s tactile experience to a lighter or more substantial feel, all while sidestepping the necessity of altering slip mats or sheets.
Adjustable Torque Precision:
Modifying the turntable’s rotational torque level to match your personal preference is straightforward through the utility settings. Select from three options: “High” for rapid start-up upon pressing PLAY, “Low” for the classic torque speed familiar to many DJs, and “Mid” for a harmonious blend of the two extremes.
Adjustable Deceleration Rate:
Use the switch located on the front of the deck to customize the duration it takes for the turntable to come to a halt upon pressing STOP. Select from three options: “Min” for an abrupt stop, “Mid” for a conventional deceleration speed well-known among DJs, and “Max” for an extended deceleration period, imparting a gradual and theatrical conclusion to a track or performance.

Precision Performance Pads for Swift and Accurate Control
While the Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 retains the hallmark layout elements of classic turntables, it introduces a fresh innovation: four integrated MIDI-mappable Performance Pads that grant direct access to your preferred functions. Strategically positioned just below the platter, these pads enable rapid activation of Hot Cues and samples, ensuring enhanced efficiency. This advantage becomes even more pronounced when performing on a mixer lacking built-in pads. Native support for diverse pad modes is seamlessly integrated, and a dedicated button facilitates the seamless transition of control from pads 1-4 to 5-8. Furthermore, these pads are MIDI mappable, offering the flexibility to assign them to alternate functions as desired.

OLED Screen for Swift Track Insight:
The included OLED display serves as a valuable tool to maintain your attention on the deck. It permits monitoring of the tempo range and key during Step Pitching. Furthermore, when you link the Poineer PLX-CRSS12 to your PC/Mac via USB running DJ software, you gain visibility into crucial details such as BPM, key, and deck number data. Moreover, the display affords convenient entry to utility settings.

Elevate the Auditory Experience for Your Audience:
Grant your audience the privilege of savouring your music in its intended glory. Meticulously crafted, the PLX-CRSS12 is designed to enhance upon the sound quality set by the esteemed PLX-1000 professional DJ turntable, renowned for its precision in sound reproduction.

Seamless Integration with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox:
The PLX-CRSS12 seamlessly harmonizes with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox software. By linking this unit to a PC/Mac equipped with the designated DJ software and connecting it to a mixer that embraces the DVS capability of the corresponding software, you’re poised to embark on Digital Vinyl mode, enabling engagement with the Performance Pads for an enriched musical experience.
