Despite the pandemic situation, Rane is not taking a push back hence, they are causing a ripple effect in 2020 with the declaration of two new gears, which was delivered on the 6th of August 2020. It is refreshed edition of their notorious Seventy-Two mixer and Twelve controller. The two deliveries built on their past success of their predecessor and added more features bringing a perfect highlight accessible to DJs that have been hotly anticipated. Trust me, I won’t bore with so much talks. So let’s quickly look into each of the gears.
THE RANE MKII SEVENTY TWO MIXER
Rane’s Seventy-Two mixer has been a longstanding bit of cherished gear in the music industry. The 2-channel Serato Scratch Mixer has received various titles and recommendation over the years, so it does not shock to see a MKII version come to fruition. The MKII version comes with an advanced performance control and creative options with unrivaled Serato DJ Pro integration. It’s solid.
With the strength and durability of a solid steel casing and aluminum paddles, the SEVENTY-TWO MKII is ready for any anything. It also comes with a 4.3” color touchscreen interface that shows moving waveforms from Serato DJ Pro, enables navigation, track selection, FX control and extensive performance tools.

Twelve MKII
The all-metal Twelve MKII takes the straightforwardness of a traditional turntable and puts its own mechanized/motorized spin wheel, consolidating both vinyl and digital features. It offers capacities to scratch and play as you would with a turntable, while likewise giving the advanced unwavering quality of accuracy, repeat-ability, and solidness.The digital connection here is a plus, it is compatible with Traktor and Virtual DJ with a USB MIDI or a DBS Audio connection.
