Unveiling Rane Twelve and Rane Seventy Two; Rane a recent member of the inMusic Group has released two new mind blowing products for discerning DJs. We have been looking forward to products from the inMusic Group since the announcement of the acquisition of major brands such as Rane and others last year. Earlier this year, we saw an avalanche of Denon products and a few releases here and there from Numark (both members of the inMusic Group).
The Rane Twelve is a motorized DJ deck without tone arms and needles. It is quite similar to the Numark V7 released years ago. The Rane Seventy Two is a 2 channel premium DJ mixer with a 4.3″ touchscreen on-board for moving waveform, cue-points, library navigation and others. Also, it has 16 multi-color performance pads on-board which is quite similar to Pioneer DJM S9. However, unlike the Pioneer DJM S9 you can select independent modes per deck (i.e. cue point on Deck A and Slicer on deck B). The Rane DJ Seventy Two is priced at $1899 and the TWELVE is priced at $799 with both being available Q4 2017. See below the full features of both products
