Numark recently released a portable turntable – PT01 Scratch, portable turntable with DJ scratch switch which enables your to scratch and cut anywhere. All you need to do is connect an audio source or your phone to play background instrumentals and scratch away your favorite samples. The adjustable scratch switch is user adjustable and last longer than ordinary sliders. The PT01 can also rip your vinyl digitally to your laptop via USB. It comes in a hard case for protection with a sleek handle. It also runs on AC and batteries. This equipment will be particularly useful for a quick slam at the basketball court, sports arena or a quick get-together. Some DJs will find this useful while others will not even bother.
